This one gets my vote for the sweetest Christmas strip so far. Kudos to all of those strip artists and writers who remembered the reason for the season in their strips today. Remember that our Santa Claus is actually an Americanization of the Dutch Sinterklaas, which was the Dutch rendering of Saint Nicholas. Saint Nicholas was a Christian bishop who ministered in the area around Myra between the years 270 to 346 A.D. and became known for his gift giving.
