I love flying dreams. I don’t think I’ve had one in years.

Could this be the end of Marigold’s magical bond to Phoebe threw a wish and the start of TRUE friendship? the end of people saying “She only did it because of the wish” Does this open the door for some one else to wish on a unicorn and test those bonds? Are unicorns like Wookies with a life dept or was Marigold just a slave this whole time? Could this be the end of every thing magical as a free unicorn goes trotting happy back home free of the squishy pink thing that she was embarrassed to be seen in public with? or are Pixies dirty liars? I think Marigold originally became Phoebe’s friend out of obligation, but now remains her friend by choice.

I had to use the zoom-in feature to figure out if that said 80s or 90s. Now that I know, I think I know what that song is.

Looking back at the first few strips, there was no time set on how long that friendship would last, ie “for life”. I wouldn’t be surprised if Marigold had her “freedom” since the second day and just chose to hang around Phoebe because MG finds her to be interesting (but not as interesting as herself ofcourse).

You’re not thinking about letting the unicorn go are you?

I know Im just doing the whole Adam West Batman/ Muppets Veterinarian Hospital /Rocky & Bowinkle cliffhanger ending thing. if we ever get a strip where Marigold turns evil I’ll have to pull out my Start Trek TNG Best of both worlds part 1 clip.
