The way Rip has of shooting nearly everything in sight make me think he’s related to Race Bannon.

I,m not sure, but I think Rip’s a bit reluctant to do the rascals in. He may be afraid of running out of bad guys. He should take a tip from Fearless Fosdick who carries a large hand cannon that he uses to put very large holes in the bad guys… and he never runs out of them.
