Sun, surf. This is what I'm talking about! Wow. It almost makes me forget the 18 hour drive to get here. What's that cloud doing? So anyway, cloud. I kinda wish I had brought a hoodie. Looks like a cold front is moving into the region for the next few days bringing periods of rain and gusty winds...

This appears to be an ill-fated roadtrip. That’s not really surprising for Monty and Moonie.

They can’t be in Florida. It’s going to be sunny and in the 80’s today. And, yes, it’s January down here too.

We took a special detour on a family trip just to see Mt Rushmore and when we got there it was fogged in completely and would be for several days. We had to wait two years to see it.

Had to wear our parkas one Christmas vacation in Fort Meyers Beach. Other than on business or to take a cruise, never been back to Florida. Good ridance

Recently spent a couple of years in Miami. It never rains from October through March. Went to work one January morning when the temperature had dropped to 39 overnight – around 20 degrees cooler than norm – and all of the ladies were wearing their heavy coats.

Reminds me of a tent camping trip …. the first week it poured and was freezing cold. Saw snow fall. Went through a lot of propane on the coleman – making tea. .. The second week… dried everything out and got a sunburn. At the same campsite. (we were told later – the campers in the campers & other large camping vehicles, had been taking bets as to how long we would last. We out lasted them.)

When I went to the grand canyon It was December and it was completely filled with fog looked like a giant bowl of milk! Starting snowing and I ended up with a horrible cold. We stayed a day or 2 then kept going on our way home from California. That was 20yrs ago and I still haven’t gotten to actually see it!
