Fritzi is always so detailed- looks like she’s in the wrong strip.

Estrelita is exactly right. And I have used the women in my life as models for Fritzi…which is why she changed somewhat from Ernie’s original. BTW, Abby, who had passed away by the time I took over, had two sisters who saw my version of Fritzi, Nancy and the whole gang and gave me their approval, so I’ve always felt blessed. And yes…..my fiance is beautiful….so it’s easy for me to find my model for Fritzi. And no…Phil won’t morph into a caricature of me! Happy New Year, everyone!!

Guy, give us a Fritzi Calender please!!!!

I know it’s the way Guy draws the fabric, but Fritzi’s outfits always look like they are made out of leather. Either that or latex. You go Girl!

After all of these years of reading “Nancy,” I never knew Aunt Fritzi had a former boyfriend. This includes Mr. Bushmiller drawing Nancy in the late 1960’s. I was just a kid reading Nancy in the Newburgh, NY Newspaper, The Evening News! Anyway, Aunt Fritzi looks like a “Cool, Long, Tall woman in a black dress!” (I think that was the name of the old “Hollies” song. It might not be correct, but I know what I’m talking about.)

That mom character is gorgeous!
