I always used three same-sized sheets of masonite when doing puzzles. Each at least as large as the size of the finished puzzle. The first was used to assemble the puzzle on, the second for storage/display of all the remaining pieces and the third as a cover. So when it was puzzle time I put the sheets 1 and 2 on a large table and let the time fly. When I had to quit for the moment I stacked the sheets on top of each other; 1 at the bottom, 2 in the middle, and 3 as a top cover. Then I had elastic straps length and crosswise which held the package together so I could stow it away until next attempt at finishing it.

Why not just read the newspaper on the table?

They should have made it more of a challenge , taken 3 different puzzles and mixed them together.

Then you put it back in the box and give it to the thrift store.
