Actually, if the hose was on and water was running, it would be much harder to freeze. Probably he used the hose and didn’t drain the water out.

Umm…no, but I’ve froze my toes….heeheeeheeeeI’ve left the hose on the faucet over the winter but it always works again in the spring.
