Fission can be controlled. So far, we can only make H-bombs with fusion.

Both nuclear fission (the splitting of heavy atoms) and nuclear fusion (the generation of heavier nuclei from smaller ones) can be sources of extremely large amounts of energy. That glass had a lot of “fizzyon” going on, though.
