When do we eat? You're hungry already?! We just got into orbit. NASA I get famished fast in zero gravity. Food doesn't stick to my ribs like it does on earth.
It’s weird, but when I was a kid, Tang didn’t taste much like orange juice. Only when I became older did I notice the similarity: orange juice started tasting more like Tang. This is the clearest example I have noticed about how our sense of taste actually changes as we grow older, and we’re able to tolerate things without lots of sugar.
Mike Scott said Watterson should sue. Please be aware that I grew up with the space program. In fact, I am a couple years older than Bill is. Red and Rover is autobiographical in nature, and as such, the multiple cardboard boxes that took me into space have found their way into Red and Rover. In Red and Rover’s world, rarely if ever do things morf into super-imaginary scenes. The cardboard box stays a cardboard box. Rover stays a real dog. I have never, and will never, copy a C&H space-themed sequence or storyline. If there are similarities they are purely by creative accident. I apologize if a reader feels cheated by my efforts. This is never intended. – Brian

Well, no wonder…Space Food Sticks and Tang aren’t substantial enough for a growing pup like Rover!

Food simply doesn’t stick to your ribs, period, Rover. I think that’s why no one is seen vaccuuming or washing the floor.
