lol I complain about overpriced stuff too. And have to admit I have made my shopping companion uncomfortable more than once.

Sadly, my experience is that Mom is right. Since the “Great Recession” the prices on everything are jacked up so much that it just screams “gouging.” So, I have stopped buying a lot of things I once did. In one of my favorite stores, this year the jeans went from $79.00 (last fall) to $109.00 (this fall) and if you want certain colors, the same pants cost $119.00. I haven’t been back to the store.
