Oh, I won’t even address the many problems with debt and why you should avoid it at all costs (pun intended). Sometimes debt is necessary is to buy a house or if you are hit with a major medical issue or job loss. But we all know that Cathy’s problem is shopping, shopping, shopping.

Hello Cathy friends! I slept well last night, very nice! Hope you all have a great day!

Apparently, one of the reasons my credit score is excellent is that I have not opened anything recently, so it’s “established”. One thing that would “improve” my score is to have more accounts. Which wouldn’t be bad if I drove or was buying a house, either in the “easily managed on my budget” scale. But I don’t drive and will stay living with my parents, because help care for one… so that leaves things like a second credit card, which would reverse the “positive.” Dad has the same messages from the same bank (not the one advertising the credit score with statement). And he has a mortgage, for the next few months, though his car’s paid off. Almost like the system was set up by the people who offered credit

Yeah—being short on money is never fun. Winning the lotto jackpot, on the other hand …
