Mom: Today?? Oh, no! Today I'm tackling the files! Clearing out years of clippings I saved for Cathy on being single! Advice on meeting men...dating tips...recipes for one...they all have to go! Then I have to set up a whole new filing system for articles I've clipped on wedding ideas...reception plans...bridal etiquette...recipes for two... (I operate a one-woman business, and its name is "My Daughter.")

Really out of date now. So much easier to just email digital articles and recipes to someone…

My mom did this. She read the Washington Post (except for the sports section), which is a large newspaper, and would mail me all sorts of clippings that she wanted me to read. It makes me sad now that she can’t do it anymore, but I cherish the fact that she thought of me during her day..Hello Cathy clan! Have a great weekend!

Thoughtful, though it kinda borders on obsessive in a way. Of course, with a wedding, who wouldn’t be?
Today I’m leaving for a week’s vacation, and will return next Friday. Throw in a few [eye-rolls] for me while I’m away …
