Why did the colorist make Cathy dark blue in the last panel, so she’s harder to see? When a strip is not drawn for color, it really does not improve it to slap color on arbitrarily years later. It’s okay people, you can actually look at black and white Really, it won’t hurt.
To our dearest AARON . . . from all of your friends here on “Cathy’s Corner.” Wherever you are, we hope you’re havinga really great day today. Love you! ♥

Cathy is dark blue because it is dark inside the kennel. She is in the shadows, so she is dark blue.

The kennel is blue in the first panel, so everything is the same. Nothing changed.

Happy Birthday, Aaron, miss you!! I like Cathy’s idea….I could use one of those around our house sometimes….the cat carriers are much too small.

OK—the first time I read this, I totally missed Cathy in the kennel. Must’ve been a long day.
Happy Birthday, Aaron. We hope to see you back here again someday.
HI, MOM. Thanks for being so great about keeping up with birthdays and other special events.
Hello, Clan.
