It’s a shame when you can’t have any downtime. And smart phones have made that worse. Some people like it, it makes them feel “important”, but I think that everyone needs some time away from work, demands, etc..Hello Cathy friends! First of all THANK YOU for the kind wishes for Jr’s birthday!! Trust Sis to even get the number right! :-) Yes, we have a teenager in the house now, which feels strange to say, but she is a sweet girl and doesn’t act like the normal teenager… mostly. ;-)I hope you all are doing well. It was Spring Break for us last week so we took a trip, probably our last while we are here, mostly to celebrate Jr’s birthday. It was really nice and I’ll miss these trips.Have a great day, all!
I forgot to comment yesterday, but I wanted to say that I didn’t change my name when I got married. It surprised my mom, who thought it happened automatically, but she seemed happy also. I kept my name for many reasons and I’m happy with my decision. It’s only occasionally complicated having a different last name (and sometimes a passport) as the rest of my family (husband and kids), but it’s not that big of a deal in this age of divorce, multiple marriages, stepchildren, etc. where there’s the possibility of everyone having a different last name. Do whatever works for you and your family!
Thank goodness I’m not one of those people who have to be attached to their phone at the palm 24/7/365 like a lot of people seem to be these days. My husband got me a new LG G Stylo about two weeks or so ago and I only just got around to picking out a ring tone for it today! I know I should take more of an interest in learning what the phone can do, but I only really need to know how to do three things with it: make a phone call, receive a phone call and occasionally send a text. Anything else just seems like a huge time-suck to me and it already feels like there isn’t enough hours in the day as it is to do all the things I have to do without additional time wasting-activities being thrown into the mix too!
Hi, rgcviper! :-)
Hello and Happy Thursday, fellow Cathy fans. Hope everyone had a really nice day today! :-)
Thanks, Sis and lindz.coop! Yes, it’s been nice to take advantage of our time here and travel some. Not counting the US, we’ve been to 10 countries since we’ve moved (including Spain)… not bad! Of course it makes me realize how much more I want to see… :-)
I doubt we’ll have time for much more travel before our move back because school ends on June 30 here, and starts on August 1 in GA. 31 short days to move back and settle in… eek!!
