Mom just wants her voice heard. It’s hard to stop being a mom, I guess..Hello Cathy friends! Thanks for being so understanding if/when I vent! I try not to do it too much, but sometimes things drive me crazy, and a deficit of sleep doesn’t help with patience. Right now, I’m frustrated with the move and the end of the school year. My main concern with the move has been over vitamins. There was a question whether they could be packed or not because food cannot be packed, however they were packed in the US to come to Spain with no problem, and these vitamins were purchased in the US. However now the Spanish packers are saying they consider them food and our shipment could be opened by customs, which could cost us $500-1000 if it happens, so we should just throw them out and buy them again. Fearing this, I have asked my husband and friends who came to visit us to take some vitamin packages back to the US with them, and they all said no (for various reasons, mostly inconvenience). So now I’m frustrated that I have to put them in our checked bags when we move back. Thanks for letting me get that off my chest!.@*O-kay* – The US as a whole goes to school the same amount as other countries. All states do it differently, but our county in Georgia usually starts the first week of August so that it finishes at the end of May. We get the same amount of summer break in our school in GA as we do in Spain, for example, approximately 9 weeks.

If one piece of advice doesn’t work, then keep trying. Something will click eventually.

Yup—full-price offers are hard to beat. At that point, seems like most advice would be generic …
HI, MOM. Greetings, “Cathy” Clan.
