It’s adorable that dad understands her cries even though she always seems to call mom.
Hello and Happy Saturday Cathy clan! It seems that everyone has something to do this morning but me. :-) I have to work for a few hours later and it looks like the water park idea is a bust. Too many different schedules and the kids’ dad doesn’t believe in compromise. We’re still going to try to get together (maybe without dad) and do something fun for a day. The oldest son and his girlfriend won’t be able to come home until August and that will just be for a few days so we’re trying to meet in the middle.
Am I the only one who thinks that when a “child” is full grown and out into the world (whether they’re married or not), they should be pulling up their big girl/boy pants and learning how to do things on their own? After all, Mom and Dad won’t be around forever to bail them out of whatever problems they get themselves into so shouldn’t they be preparing for that future inevitability by learning how to navigate life’s waters on their own as soon as they poss-ibly can? Just my opinion on the subject, anyhow!
Hi, rgcviper! Welcome back. Glad to hear you had a really won-derful vacation! :-)
QuietStorm27: Sorry to hear that. It definitely makes things a whole lot more difficult to plan when you’ve got at least one person being so stubborn and unwilling to compromise, isn’t it? My sympathies to you! :-(
Hello and Happy Saturday, fellow Cathy fans. Hope everyone’s been having a really great weekend so far! :-)
C’mon, Cathy! i know it’s tempting to call your parents whenever you get into a bind, but you should be an adult now and able to handle your own problems. .Hello Cathy clan! I agree with you, Sis! If she’s old enough to have owned her own house for years, she’s old enough to act like an adult.Good luck with your plans, QuietStorm! Our AC went out last night (always happens on a Friday after 5pm, doesn’t it?) so it’s been a hot weekend so far. Stay cool, friends!
lindz.coop, I’m sure your husband’s family is in shock! I still am and it isn’t even my country. But since this is history-making and will affect the world forever, it’s absolutely crazy to me. I’m hearing different stories… the one side that says even the ones who voted “leave” now want to stay, and the other side that says many are happy and don’t regret a thing. Any thoughts on that? I’m guessing different regions are different. Like, since London most voted to stay, people there are not happy at all, but how about the regions who voted to leave? Are they truly still happy now that reality has sunk in?

AACK. Unfortunately, I know this feeling all too well some of the time.
Not sure if I’ve ever seen younger versions of our title character like this. Interesting.
HI, MOM. Greetings, “Cathy” Clan.
