Expecting someone — even if it’s your own son (and his wife) — to miss work and spend the money to travel 6000 miles round trip in order to “drop off” their dogs for her to watch while they moved just so that SHE didn’t feel like “chopped liver” sure takes a lot of hubris and chutzpah on her part! Now we know why Irving chose to move 1500 miles away from his parents the first chance he got when he grew up. If I had a selfish mother like that, I’d do the exact same thing, too ….. only much further than that if it was at all possible because 1500 miles between us would still be too close to her for my comfort level. Simply unbelievable!

Hello and Happy Friday, fellow Cathy fans. TGIF! While not currently raining here in Southern Indiana where I live, we didget almost an inch of rain overnight and it’s still pretty chilly out there now as I write this. Hope everyone ELSE had a really nice day today though! :-)
