My mother and two very special friends are getting Christmas-themed coasters and trivets that I cross stitched while everyone else on the list is getting something from Amazon. I absolutely despise with a passion stepping foot in stores this time of year: there’s no place to park, people are rude, you can never find what you’re looking for on the shelves and there are never enough clerks manning the check-out registers even though the lines are a mile long. I swear. It’s like the stores don’t even realize it’s now December and that Christmas is just a few short weeks away! :-(
