Never buy someone underwear without them picking it out themselves. You will always either get something the wrong size and/or something they will never wear.
And never give those huge, silly stuffed animals that look so appealing in the store. If you do get one….say thank you, and place it in the children’s toys donation bin next Christmas.
I love how the display to the left of Irving got bigger as they were talking. I guess it overheard them? ;-) I also agree with not giving lingerie without the other person there to approve, and stuffed animals are for kids. My kids on the other hand will get fun socks and candy, which they like better than stuffed animals.
