So thanks to Irving Cathy can look forward to a week in a standard double at “Circus Circus” in Vegas instead of her Roman holiday. I wonder if Irving gets to sleep on that comfortable couch again tonight.

Me thinks he lost the roll.

After having just spent three L-O-N-G weeks looking for the perfect bathing suit to “hang on her arm” at the pool, the possibility of a “staycation” with no place to “show it off” thanks to Irving’s procrastination doesn’t appear to be sitting very well with Cathy right now (and who could blame her?). When he’s banished to the couch for being such an idiot, I hope it’s a really uncomfortable one! :-D

Hello and Happy Monday, fellow Cathy fans. Hope you all had a really great Father’s Day weekend, and a very nice day today, too! ♥

I learned a while back that my favourite airline (Air Canada) increases the price of seats in a section as the seats are reserved. Was trying to book seats for two couples on two credit cards in premium economy. I booked two seats for my wife and I then two more for my sister-in-law and her husband. The second pair of seats were over $200 more PER SEAT. Cancelled all 4 and rebooked the 4 seats on one transaction and all 4 were at the lower rate. Scary sometimes. I have also found that most web ‘deals’ and even discount airline tickets end up being really close the price you get when booking directly with the airline – after you add in all the extra fees and taxes. I do like to reserve my seat in advance as I prefer my wife and I (and other family members) to sit together and I really like looking at the ground from the air so always want a window seat.

Hmmm, reminds me it is about time to book our flight to Orlando for this September. Really looking forward to our first trip in 2 years!
