It is good we have the option of a flu shot. While my flu experiences have not encouraged me to get a shot in my own lifetime, as these viruses mutate and grow more resistant and virulent I am certain the need will one day come whether due to increased age or increased threat. Wash your hands, cough or sneeze into the crook of your arm or a hanky, enhance your immune system with good diet, and avoid skin contact with ‘common’ areas such as tv remotes, phones, light switches, door handles and knobs to the degree you are able.
