Actually, I’ve had two doctors tell me that getting a prostrate exam was not in anyone’s best interest. Colonoscopy, though, was another story. But only one every 10 years. And it wasn’t bad at all, thanks to the drugs.

first a simple blood test for “PSA”, (protein specific antigen) which should be below “3”, a digital exam may miss the cancer.. in my case my PSA was “7”… I go in for radical surgery in about 4 weeks.. luckily my “Gleason” score was 3+4=7 instead of 4+3=7, massive but slow growing vs smaller but fast growing… FYI, if you’re over 60 and have a “slow grower” you’ll die of old age before the cancer kills you.. contrary to panel two gag …

You still have to be prostrate for the exam. Any other orientation would be even more uncomfortable and unpleasant for all involved.

Last year, I passed a kidney stone that was rather large (3mmx7mm). My doctor told me that was an automatic pass on my prostate…

    It’s neither uncomfortable or humiliating.

Why are so many people talking about the mere comic strip? Don’t you come here to read the copyright date???
