what kind of horses are they for $3K? too little for registered thouroughbred, but run of the mill quarter horse that’s like 2x the price

That’s pretty high for most horses now. right now they are going cheap. A couple weeks ago someone tried to get me to take a four year old saddle broke registered Quarter Horse for free. My old Morgan mare is too old to ride now, but I don’t need another. Sold my tack at a CW reenactment at Shiloe last year. At 68, I think I’m too old for another.
