Whoaā€¦ for a moment there, I thought weā€™d entered the realm of the supernaturalā€¦..

Jerry as an apparitionā€¦.a floating, disembodied headā€¦

But no, heā€™s merely ascending the stairs from the baā€¦. the baseā€¦ uhā€¦..OMG it IS supernaturalā€¦.Marlene and Dale donā€™t have a basement!

I think itā€™s one of those weird 50s-60s houses called a split level. At least Dale is cleaning the rug as he ā€˜works outā€™ā€¦

    I dunno Margā€¦.youā€™re right, Iā€™m sureā€¦.

But it wasnā€™t that way yesterdayā€¦.

Maybe,ā€¦. Crustwood had some door to door alien salesmen come throughā€¦.and they all bought tardis interiorsā€¦. that grow and change when neededā€¦..

    Nahā€¦. itā€™s Julie.She can do that.

Maybe the reason Iā€™m not seeing the Find-It is that itā€™s out of sightā€¦downstairs, in the new basement,.on the door of the convenience.

And I guess Dale didnā€™t know they make a special Crustwood model AB roller..He should have ordered itā€¦. model CR2-37429ā€¦. ā€œThe flAB Roller.ā€

So, tell me again how the ā€œAb Rollerā€ works when Daleā€™s belly never leaves the ground. He looks like a teeter-totter to me, or worse, one of those NatGeo pix of a whale being taken apart on the shore. (ā€œI love the smell of blubber in the morning.ā€)

    SS,

    get rid of you????

Nahā€¦I think the brain-bleach makes you either immortal, or like one of them hard to remove stains on Burlā€™s carpeting.

Quick aside: never try to remove a stain from the Penny homeā€¦ itā€™s probably either needed DNA from a family memberā€¦ or years-old caramel-based candy from the dollar dump.

Hmmmā€¦isnā€™t this where an eerie voice says ā€œsame thingā€ ?

I like the way Burlā€™s and Dales homes are most of the time single story and overnight are split level. Is this what does on forced retirement ?

Looks like a raised ranch. Itā€™s basically a ranch-living room kitchen, bedrooms, dining room and either 1, 1.5 or 2 bathrooms on one level, but it has a basement for the family room. You come in through the front door and there are two sets of stairs: one leading down to the basement, the other leading to the living quarters. Many are designed so that you can see the living room floor as you walk up-it looks like one of those old skits where someone ā€œwalksā€ down a staircase. These were pretty common in NW suburbs of Chicago about 30 to 40 years ago.

Those ab roller thingys are no good anyway; I had one. It is good (and surprising) to see anyone in Crustwood having any form of excercise.

I still prefer just free weights (and 2 pairs of ankle ones too). 1/2K marathon? Not even; but I canā€™t do any running either since I sprained an ankle. I loved to run but since that I never know when it will collapse. I like to walk fast, tho which pleased my new SIL; he and my daughter drive everywhere (as I do here) but they have such nice shaded public sidewalks (that donā€™t go down at every driveway) and such a variety of pretty homes.
