It’s the Regurgitation Reptile Blues !

Unlike owls, snakes don’t disgorge. They crap. Messily. I know whereof I speak.

We had a king snake named Lockheed; we’d let him swim in the tub, and the warm water usually made him go. Easier to wash down the drain and we didn’t have to clean his cage as often.

I thought that once something was in a snake’s mouth, it could only go one way – inward.

That’s the fourth time I’ve posted the above comment and only now does it appear. Now the others will show up.

Isn’t anyone troubled by a talking snake?

I love the Adirondacks, but that furniture looks really uncomfortable. And those are the first Adirondack footrests I’ve ever seen.

That snake is a fake, it simply doesn’t look real to me. And it’s too theatrical, which snakes are definitely not.Maybe it’s a kabuki actor specialized in playing snakes?

Re:Honey Danger: When diluted with water honey becomes highly fermentable and wild yeast will convert it to alcohol, or other bacteria and mold can flourish. Also raw honey can contain botulinum spores, which is why very young children should also not be fed honey until their immune response is stronger.

Learned something about snakes today. I thought the disgorging referred to getting rid of undigested waste products, but I had no idea that they would reject a meal if they were threatened or under stress.
