The “Stars and Bars” is the state flag and looks much like the stars and stripes except it had wide red and white bars instead of narrow stripes of the union flag. It could be confused in the heat of battle so the South used the “Crossed Bars” as a battle flag.

No, making a reboot of a work of fiction and changing the story is not “rewriting history”, Dean, because the original work still exists. Besides, the US has already done enough rewriting of history you lil’ moron.
