Ever eat something that you thought was something else?

To this day, I still can’t eat food with raisins in them. Thought I was biting into a chocolate chip cookie once when I was young…raisin cookies, what evil minded soul invented them?

wondering if the pastels were oil or chalk?

I once bought a bag of chips thinking they were bbq, but when I ate a few at once my eyes started watering. It turned out they were cheddar and horseradish. Next time I will pay more attention to the label name instead of the color. Ugh!

No, because I take good care of my taste buds; I have often tried new things, tho. I’m becoming a vegetarian cook now for a year so I will be experimenting with many new things (I made hummus, and will be trying new things with MISO and even with tofu ;-P

Darn it, I so often forget to close parenthesis.

Many, many years ago the company cafeteria had what most of us thought were fried oysters. They were codfish cakes. Urk.

They taste better than the cheap Valentine’s Day chocolates.

I understand they’re very good with library paste.

My cousins who lived on a farm gave me chocolate to eat once. Suffice to say, it wasn’t actually chocolate.

ew. I ate chalk that I got as a party favor when I was a kid. Not unlike Pete. Go figure.
