Our dog likes to riding in the front seat, but I have to use a seatbelt on him to keep him from trying to drive.
They may like it, but it can be deadly if they don’t have a doggie seatbelt on!
Mine likes the back seat – she doesn’t have to share!. She does try to sit in the middle, though
Even with a seat belt, the airbag will still kill your dog. If you can’t turn off the passenger airbag, he’ll be safer belted in the back seat. A good quality rigid pet carrier, secured with a seat belt or bungie cords is safer still.
What? None of the dogs are hanging out the window, catching odors?
Pets should always be in the back seat, secured. An accident recently resulted in the death of the driver and her two dogs.
My felines are crated and belted in – back seat – where they can bellow to their heart’s content.
I often see dogs in the driver’s lap – geeze!
