An old girlfriend used to call me and huskily whisper that phrase into the phone when she wanted to go for a motorcycle rideā¦she was the boon of my life at the time, but the bane of my existence (my substance was abused).
Itās not necessarily a problem, except in the legal sense. The first chief of surgery at Johns Hopkins, called the āfounder of modern surgeryā, was an addict pretty much his whole adult life,, first to cocaine and then to morphine.
Special Forces and such used a pill called āStay awakeā . THEY told us it was just caffeine and some vitamins. Found out when I took one to a civilian doc it was laced with amphetamine IN addition to caffeine and vitamins.I hated that stuff. Took it one time. Made me so hyper I could not stay still for 2 seconds, constantly paced around the bunker, chewed off my fingernails, cleaned every weapon in the bunker three times finally after a few hours it wore off. When your job is sniping and observation way behind enemy lines not being able to hold still can be an issue. So yes to agree with WIN. People are strange.Arrested a DUI driver. No alcoholic beverage odor on his breath. Asked him if he had been drinking. He said āNo I am doing it by IVā. Showed me the needle marks. Breath test low numbers. Blood alcohol test 0.35 which is really high. His defense in court by his attorney was he was not DRINKING and driving. He never DRANK a drop. He did however forget that the statute reads āingestionā which can be by any means. Even an enema. (I arrested one who did that too)
