Transcript:
Boy: What's it mean if something is whole grain? Frazz: It means you're eating more than just whiter inside stuff. Boy: Oh! So when I pop an oreo into my mouth instead of twisting it in half to get at the frosting, that's like a whole-grain oreo. Frazz: "Like" being the operative word. Boy: Oh, I like them, all right.

Years ago, a woman with a background in chemistry made a project of finding out how to replicate popular supermarket “foods” at home. She produced a cookbook with recipes for, among other things, Oreos. As I recall (from the newspaper article I read about the book) the white stuff is mostly shortening. Alexikakos, you wouldn’t happen to have this, would you?!
