Need simpler commands: “Alice! Sit! Stay!”

“In” doesn’t work for a wiggle bottom lawyer either. “I AM in my seat” (sitting on knees, or sideways, or half off, or all of the above)

I beg your pardon, but are you prepositioning me?

The same thing happened once to my little sister some 30 years ago and I still remember it. Every day I read Cul De Sac and every day brings back an episode of my childhood.Thank you so much Mr. Thompson. Get well!

Duct tape might help clarify the situation.

I’m with Alice on this one. Telling her to sit “in” the chair would’ve been clearer.

Reminds me of “Please Don’t Eat the Daisies”, when Doris Day said to her son’s teacher, "I’m sorry. I never told him to not put his head in the rungs of a chair.”

If Alice’s mom would have said “sit dowm’ rather than “stay on your chair”, that might have been clearer for Alice.

A politician in the making. Her mom didn’t say exactly what she wanted.

This strip is still golden. I hope Mr Thompson is doing better.

The exact same thing happened to ME when I was about Alice’s age (60+ years ago). Hysterical!

I attempted to stand on a basketball once. It didn’t work out very well ……. my head still hurts from hitting the fridge.
