lots of skating rinks here freeze pickle juice in small plastic cups and sell them as snacks. Got to admit it is a pretty good idea, I mean, kids will eat anything and to get them to pay for something that most folks pour down the drain is genius.
I have the same problem with miso breath. Miso paste is the one thing I know of that will stop a cold in its tracks if you eat some when you first get that “I’m coming down with something” feeling. Unfortunately, being a fermented product, it gives one fierce halitosis.
Opal can get a prescription for quinine tablets or simply buy some tonic water at the supermarket, which contains quinine. It works fast and great. Later you could make a drink with the leftover tonic water. Ha!
I know two people have cronic leg cramps and both swear thatplacing a bar of soap under the covers at the foot of the bed relieves the cramping. ?????????

Sip of pickle juice, shot of tequila, then some more pickle juice…and you have yourself a “Dixie Hooker”.

Interesting, I get restless legs and a friend suggested pickle juice. Guess this is one of those home remedies.

Is Earl reading the latest issue of High Times? It looks like a certain type of leaf on the cover.

Tonic water works for me, and not as smelly. Also corks in the bed for mild cramps.

I’ll have to try that pickles for leg cramps thing. Or is it just the juice that helps.

A bar of soap under the sheet works for leg cramps. I use one of those you get a motels. Nobody believes me but it works and no pickle breath.

I’d read that the author of this strip is a Mormon but this is the first evidence I’ve seen of it.

What kind of pickle juice? Dill, half sour, or sweet mixed?
PegVanourny over 11 years ago
Yes, a teaspoon or less of yellow mustard (or any kind of mustard) is the best thing to cure leg or foot cramps. And it works fast!
