Who would want to trust you Broomie?
A sad commentary on the current state of trust, of restrooms, and of gas stations (which once were service stations, believe it or not).
We still have at least one full service station here in mid MO. Including the bell that rings when you pull up to the pump.
And no this is not an April Fools joke.
That would leave me feeling tired.
At least it’s not on a concrete block.
I remember the old service stations where they not only pumped your gas but they checked your tire pressure and washed your windows.
Some travelers are sooo sleepy that they go straight to the vehicle and drive-off. Then they wonder where the extra key came from.
@rekam:I had an after-school job in a gas station. Pumped gas, washed windows and checked tire pressure. Checked the tire tread, oil level and the air filter too, in case we could add a sale.
