The Buckets by Greg Cravens for March 26, 2013
Transcript:
Why do you want me to make all these choices about school and my future? Why can't I just fly by the seat of my pants? Live life on the ragged edge?! You use to be my age. I bet you wanted to live recklessly and free! What happened that made you turn all serious and boring? The doctor said, Mr. Bucket, it's a boy!

There’s nothing like a teenager who suddenly realizes that his dad used to be him… til ‘him’ came along.

I really did laugh out loud at this one. I used to tell my son, “Yes, son, I wish I was 15 again so I could know everything.” Good one.

My son was complaining about having to go to school, and all the things kids complain about. Then came the line, “I can’t wait until I’m grown up”. My immediate response was, “Enjoy yourself now, It’s not all it’s cracked up to be.”
