Tic-tac oscillation while loitering in a lobby is lascivious and licentious.

The bird on the stairs appears to be a Black Caped Night Heron. They are an invasive species. The trees they nest in are killed because of the very high nitrate levels in the birds droppings.

There’s always someone who complains! These Fuscos are harmless; but Detective Lionel Fusco is a different kettle of Tic-Tacs….

How do you rattle containers of Tic Tacs in an obscene way? I’d like to try it.

Re: BubblesThe bubbles are just soapy water.

However, when you pass an electrical current (from, say, a car battery charger) through water, the water breaks down in to its component atoms (Hydrogen and Oxygen). The escaping gases form bubbles of soapy water filled with Hydrogen (H) or Oxygen (O) and some with an explosive mixture of both. Hydrogen in the presence of Oxygen is extremely flammable (as seen in the video) and needs only the smallest heat source to ignite it (a burning ember will do). When the H oxidizes (burns) water is formed and a lot of energy is released very quickly (enough to run a car engine?). The bubbles in the video were likely formed using less than a thimble of water.

We did these kind of experiments in High School chemistry back when we were still encouraged to blow things up.

Note: The gases will form around the electrodes, one to the positive electrode and the other to the negative making it easy to separate the gases for later use.

@blog Bubbles: separating hydrogen & Oxygen. H2 inside a bubble could combine with O2 in the air or maybe O2 from the reaction. the device is here: http://hhogastechnology.weebly.com/ep-230-compact-oxy-hydrogen-generator—-680-lhr.html

I know I’m a couple of days late with this, but I also know that Teresa appreciates the opportunity to make corrections.

The puppies on the blog are Dalmatians, not Dalmations. (It’s a very common mistake.)

Those samurai earbuds are awesome – I wish they were still being manufactured, but apparently they were DC’ed in 2009.
