You know, you can’t work on a new car like you could work on that. Too much electronics, too many computers. Too pricey for a kid to work on. Where are the next generation of mechanics going to learn?(Did Brad ever get a new car after meeting his girl and joining the fire department?)
This brings back a few memories. When I first started driving in the late 1980s, I drove a ’75 Chevy Nova with a 350 cubic inch V8 engine. It was a gas guzzler that was terrible for the environment, but it sure did go fast. It could leave anything but a sports car in the dust, and its top speed was well above the 100 mph that the spedometer went up to (being young and foolish, I tested it a few times).
