Sí, Gracia estará creciendo como una multa, señora sofisticada. Deseo que pueda aprender a cómo bailar el tango. Sería divertido bailar el tango. For English: Yes, Gracia will be growing up as a fine, glamourous lady. I wish I could learn how to dance the tango. It would be fun to dance the tango.

Daviddeer says: this is America. Speak and write English please. If you can’t read the Spanish sentences. You can go to www.freetranslation.com that will be helpful. I usually check it on that website via Internet for freetranslation.

Thank you for the link Wildmustang - saved me a step for getting those translated…

    Here’s what I got:

JonD17 says “your niece, will become a fine lady Tia Carmen”

Mowgil says “Tia Carmen, I have a pair of nieces and nephews…” but the rest doesn’t really translate well

Daviddeer, some of us do indeed come to this page from America. An America which contains English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese, Hmong, Vietnamese, and many more languages. I much prefer that America to the monoglot you seem to come from. How boring it must be to lack such diversity.

Google any one of many free translating dictionaries: “como = like, “una” = one (a), “nina” = girl. Years ago, this site gave Baldo in both Spanish and English, a great possibility for learning. But the wonderful art makes the meaning quite clear.

I am NOT American and I like the Spanish. Talk about being narrow minded! Beside since when have Americans spoken ENGLISH anyway?

!Que mundo loco! Spanish spoken in relation to a latino cartoon family! You know, I think it’d be cool to see Tia Carmen and Sergio speaking spanish sometimes. (and if they have been, maybe more frequently)

You can still read this comic in Spanish on this site, then compare the two versions to help you learn (or refresh your knowledge of) the language less familiar to you:
