You should see what he can do with a piece of string, or a feather. Or even a beam of light on the floor (when he was younger.) Joy, on the other hand, only needs something to eat and she is happy. She can do it for hours.

Yup… that’s Joy’s knack….She can always find something to eat.

It may not always be what you or I would call edible…but if she puts enough sugar on it….it’ll do in a pinch.

Meanwhile…. a few days with missing Find-It’s… so today we get TWO.It’s like Julie’s saying “They want Find-Its?I’ll give ‘em Find-It’s.There’s your @#$%! Find-Its right there!”

But of course, today it’s the finials that are missing.

I always think it’s when they’re getting ready to go out back-stabbing everyone.

I am guessing they don’t have cable as that costs as so does dish. So there isn’t much on regular tv to watch. Burl must have a stash of vcr’s he has collected. You can pick them up at a thrift store for $.50 or less. The Tv looks like one we had 40 yrs ago with the speaker on the side had to turn it up full to hear it. Yup Joy is a charmer with all those crumbs all over her. My 1 yr old eats better than they do….

Burl knows every test pattern by heart. He also does 8-10 hours of horizontal yoga every night.

We got our first TV when I was about 14. I was fascinated with everything that came on our one channel. Now I have about 300 channels and can’t find a single thing to watch.

Oh! I really don’t like it when I find myself being in something WITH the Pennys, but with my TiVo (which has a huge hard drive and can burn DVDs) I always have things I like to watch. I have quite a lot of cooking shows, decorating, crime and music. Being alone, I have it on most waking hours (and they are just starting to advertise on my cable for a “new” service that intuitively selects shows for you based on past choices (TiVo has always had that). Even my live news records one hour starting at 6, so it will be on that channel every weekday when I come down to this room and FB (backward) so I’m watching on 20-30 min of delay and can bypass comercials and sports. I guess the sound sort of keeps me company (when I’m not chatting online here, on FB, at the hawks nest etc, etc). And then there’s Skype (free) where I have live chat with some kids and grandkids as well as with my lover.

One feature of this hour of the news is a “history quiz” and today’s was interesting- I just watched. A multiple choice on which item was designed by the son of the architect FLW. I guessed correctly, that it was Lincoln Logs. Made sense to me that the son of an architect would have designed those. Blocks were my most used toy when I was little (building my own cities and worlds).

Oh! I really don’t like it when the “

” does not work! tried twice on that statement to make it more legible by separating paragraphs.

So, Dazz, you are saying that a carrot in quotes lets you have a paragraph? Let me try this…“^”So, this should be a new paragraph, I suspect. Let me see….. well, let me finish by saying that I actually feel sorry for Burl, never getting bored with tv. I like some shows, and probably watch 1 or maybe 2 hours a day. But, to have the tv on all the time would probably give me nausea from too much sound. I am a bit sound sensitive, and need ample periods of quiet each day other wise I do very literally experience sonic overload.

Hmm. Still not sure if this is the correct way to get paragraphs. Let me try again. “^”“^”So, is this right?

It works, but for me it shows the whole quote/carrot thing.

Burl’s brain is like an empty bucket with a hole in it. It is always empty. knid of like their stomachs, except that they are like an empty bucket with no bottom.
