This puts the FUN in funeral!

We had a funeral for a neighbor’s dead puppy once. We buried him under one of the orange trees in the nearby orchard. When his parents go upset about us burying it, none of us could remember which tree. It was a big orchard and we weren’t really allowed to be there.

Fortunately, that won’t be for another eight or nine years.

Now, now, children, please don’t quarrel.

Somehow I do not imagine that Lizzie will be this upbeat at Farley’s funeral.

Thus, the birth of the funeral industry.
