If chomp, Lucy will sue for getting rabies or something. (Legaleagle48 from yesterday: here’s a hint to my name found in the OT/BofM: President Adams’ cousin and Mr. Clemens.)
Dangerous for Lucy to offer to let a dog bite her. What if her parents have Snoopy killed in revenge, as parents often do when their child is bit by a dog? What if the bite gets infected? It is a really stupid thing for her to do: she could harm both herself & Snoopy.
I used to have a dog named snoopy. He was a kind and loving dog but my uncles always left the gate to our house open and he ran away. One time i saw him on the road to our house.
Poor Snoopy. Lucy clearly instigated this and put the idea in his head. H was just sitting there calmly minding his own business when she came up and said he was waiting to chomp a leg. Really she’s just looking for a reason to be crabby.
At times you have to miss the days when Lucy was clearly younger than Charlie Brown and much more naive. But then there’s been a number of characters who changed quite a bit from their introductions.
Lucy could make it in a marching band standing on one leg like that(I know from experience)..or..later…pass a DUI checkpoint test..( I know that one too)

I wouldn’t do it, Snoopy. You never know where her leg has been, and you might end up being poisoned!

If you want to live, Snoopy then the answer for you would be NOT TO CHOMP.
