I see it! I see it! It just hovers there writing the thermals... Almost like it's taunting you. You have retriever in you- go get it, boy! See you in a few days. Don't give my food away. Arf Arf Arf Arf Arf Arf Arf
If Rover manages to bring it on home, he deserves a lot of extra special treats. Then again, he deserves them just for trying. Hopefully he won’t be distracted by squirrels.
I had a gas powered model airplane that was supposed to return like a boomerang. Last time I saw it it was flying over the treetops and gone. Could have used Rover.
Yep..Back in 1966 mom bought me a 5 cent balsa wood glider.I took it out back and a dust devil took it 500 feet into the air headed east never to be seen again..Mom just shook her head. Some kid in the next town of Wellton got himself a free glider..
When I was a lad living temporarily in Marin County, we made box kits and had 2000’ reels of string. We’d fly from one hilltop to another. When the air cooled and the winds died in the late afternoon, the kites would lower and the strings would catch on the oak trees.
The next morning, we’d try to recover the string and, most importantly, the bamboo sticks. Then we’d do it all over again.

I hope Rover doesn’t disappear for days like he did a few years ago. Red was so sad!

: D I wouldn’t be a bit surprised if Rover brings that kite back to Red. (Snoopy would go get it… but then he had a Sopwith Camel.)
