North Korea showed a video that listed targets for its nuclear missiles. Austin, Texas was one of the targets. A television personality suggested that NK was trying to get the rest of Texas on their side. The Texas flag is red white and blue. Too bad the parties are working so hard to make it monochrome. Respectfully,C.
That is some fast drying paint. Doesn’t get on your clothes and skin. And you can paint over it right away with complete coverage. Where can I get some?
Free from the fear that the poor might have health insurance? Freedom from decent schools? Freedom from truth in text books? Freedom from paying federal income taxes? (Texas is 8th in the concentration of Mitt’s famous 47% who “aren’t responsible for their own lives”). I’ll keep my own freedoms, thank you.
Thank God for voters who elect more “non-Democrat officials”! Thank God for state governments that oppose the Democratic attempt to “takeover” 50 states by Federal Dictat.-We desperately need many new “clones” of Patrick Henry….“Freedom or death”…..who will do every non-violent action possible to deny the Democrat’s Federal Control.
wrong, Ahab. (and the GOP is NOT “my party”….I choose whatever candidate is in my eyes “conservative” and not all GOP are that)…-I’ve been voting since IKE ran for re-election and I was finally old enough to vote; I watch the political scene as best I can, and the GOP and independent groups seeking reforms are trying to get HONEST VOTING, and ID checks so that each precinct can refuse ballots to illegal voters. That is in no way a seeking to “suppress” the vote. It is an attempt to ensure each vote is truly valid and legitimate.-If the D party would reform its age-long practices of voting the cemetery headstones and the too-old-to-vote elderly people being “helped” to vote straight Democrat…..and the countless aliens in the USA being bussed by Democrat & Union election workers….people who have no legal right to vote….Reform would not be needed.
yes ahab dead people have a hard time standing in line - for weeks in advance you could get id at library or at community elder care centers or on several days a week the election board had judges at wal mart or city hall or lic boards

Some of the most liberal people I know live and vote in Texas.
Chillbilly about 11 years ago
Well back when I lived in Texas we used to have a saying: The only part of Texas that sucks is the part to the north, south, east and west of Austin.
But my friends live all over the place, typically in a place that looks like “King of the Hill.”
