Lucy: You're doing what? Danae: Opening a Kickstarter account to fund my transporter beam app project. Lucy: What'll people get in return for a donation? Danae: A free app! Lucy: An app that'll never exist? Danae: Uh-huh. Lucy: Umm... Isn't that called "fraud?" Danae: I think the word you're searching for is "genius..."

So Danae doesn’t think it’s possible, either?

Nor sure about the cycles, but I know a Harley who gets her kicks started with a glass or two of wine.

Put ‘ECO’ or ‘SOLAR’ in the name and the government will fund it.

Harleys only have a kickstarter on account, of they don’t have a key starter.

Calm down. After she’s made hundreds of billions of dollars through sharp (near-unethical) business practices she’ll institute a Danae Foundation and give some of it back in grants. As did Carnegie, Rockefeller, Ford, and Gates.

When Paramount [home to Star Trek]hears about Danae’s project, they may sue.

There is a compilation of Fort’s three books available through Dover. Anybody who can read them completely through deserves some sort of brass medal. I’ve tried numerous times, and it’s like walking cross-ways through a plowed field. .I think all most of what he wrote was tongue-in-cheek, anyway. One would be better advised to read Martin Gardner collections, many articles of which examine paranormal and pseudoscientific claims — and usually debunk them.. A good Gardner book (though somewhat dated) to start is FADS AND FALLACIES IN THE NAME OF SCIENCE, also available from Dover..And Night-Gaunt49, I suspect you’ve already read them! You must live in a library, my friend. It must pain you greatly , as it does me, that new paper books are gradually being replaced by e-books. I can’t believe this is happening in my lifetime!

You’d think people would have learned after the dot-bomb fiasco. But then these are people with smartphones, so it kind of makes sense they’d buy into it. The appliance is smarter than the operator.

Not fraud. If she words it correctly. Just tell the truth. Be plain, not flowery. Don’t hide it. …. There are people who will still send you moooonneeeyyy.
