Well let’s see…that’s Dancing Bear, Bunny Rabbit, the Captain himself, Mr. Moose, Grandfather Clock and Mr Greenjeans. Yes, that makes me 39 years old…plus about 12 more years that we no longer count! Thanks for the memories!

Tame are you counting Mary and the little lamb too? I wasn’t sure if they were on the wall or in the picture. My bifocals are always getting smeared, I need wipers on the specs!!!

That’s not right… that’s just not right. For some reason it freaks me out seeing a rabbit doing that.

Captain Kangaroo was my favorite. Watched it every morning as a pre-schooler (late 50s, early 60s).

Today’s comic made me chuckle.. I like the addition of the blog too. As for the contest, I would have had NO idea without looking at the other commenters.Because I am an honorable guy, I will go with my original thought: some kind of publicity photo for a strange Coldwar-era propaganda show about Joe America and his Profit Pals always chasing around the evil Badnik Bear and his Comrades..?
