Well-played bagpipes ae awesome; there are also two ways to enjoy them: up close and deafening, and far enough away that you almost have to strain to hear them. Beautiful, either way.But you hae toget away from the usual massed-bands and “Scotch standards” dreck; find something from the Tannahill Weavers to listen to the pipes in a better setting.
