It’s all in Arlo’s expression. When he first said “Yeah, I know.” with a happy face, and saw that Janis meant this as a criticism, rather than a simple observation; he quickly repeated it, but with a sad face.
I don’t know why people are so prejudiced like that. Just because your wife is like that doesn’t mean all of us are. My husband wanted to go out yesterday to a Jazz brunch. I was the one that didn’t want to go out but I said sure. :-p
My husband’s the opposite. Before he was home full time I would get up around 10 am, work until 2 pm, go out to the PO to pick up box mail and mail out stuff, run to the market once a week, and then home within 15 min, except when I went food shopping, then 1/2 hour. Fridays I would run errands – banking, etc. and the “office” (me) would have lunch out. Now he is home. We wake around 11 am- noon, go out at 3 pm for the same errands, and get home around 5 pm, another day shot. He loves to be out and I would rather be home. I even prefer cooking to eating out. Saturday nights we go to the movies whether or not we want to see the picture.

My husband to a “T”! His idea of a perfect Sat. is to sit around the house watching movies or napping. Nevermind what needs doing….

Us to a tee! I use to drag around all night, now she complains we stay home too much. I need a definition of too much!

Yep, for us, it’s like the weather. We always talk about going out more, but never do anything about it.

It’s the other way around at our house. I am the one who wants to go out, and my wife is a homebody.

I’m guessing they don’t go in as much as they used to, either.
