I have a calculator that I bought in ‘86. I don’t use it all the time but it is still running on the original batteries. It got me through college. (No solar on it either.) Every time I use it I’m impressed. Maybe it should be checked for radiation…
Back when cell phones used to say batt low, a co-worker had just bought a new one, and announced one day that he missed a call from “A Mister Battlow.” From then on, we’d be calling him to the phone, telling him Mr Battlow wanted him.
