My siblings hated the fact that I was an only child.

Oh, I catch on…“an only sun”.

The sun revolved around him.

I work with someone that isn’t an only child, but the youngest. And when she wants something, she WHINES. “I want one”. Give me a break! And she’s older than I am! If I even tried that, I would get told to “grow up”.

I hope this doesn’t put ideas in heads to burn ants that aren’t bothering anyone.

This is another way of rephrasing the saying, “Life revolves around your own way of thinking”!

IMHO, you are reading the strip incorrectly. It refers to the fact that only children think they are so ‘great’ the sun and everything else revolves around them!!

And it would be Peter who was picked for this joke. Although some of the other characters live in their own world.

So as an only child with an inferiority complex what does that make me?
