He who hesitates is lost. Haste makes waste.

Give me a break, right here!

Call about rotted tooth? More like scream in agony. Here’s a conundrum. Joy is concerned about the expiration dates of light bulbs, extending the life of pasta and resurrecting chicharrones but thinks it’s OK to take heart meds that are a year out of date. Maybe she found some at a garage, or better yet, an estate sale. Woo hoo!

She needs to check the expiration date on the light bulb in her head!!

Right Burl….your meds expire just to make you buy new ones….

And that’s also why the doctor changes your prescription…he gets a kick-back from the drugstore.

Don’t bother getting the new stuff….I have an old bottle of something or other back here behind the vanilla extract…try that and let me know how it works for ya.

Leaky….I think they took those bulbs out long ago….

Used ’em in the bathroom instead of walking downstairs to get new lightbulbs.

It doesn’t matter if it’s dark inside their heads…the elevator doesn’t go all the way up anyway.

They put warranties on cars. That’s so you know when to expect costly repairs. About two days after the expiry.

I had some eyeglasses. I was walking down the street when suddenly the prescription ran out. Stephen Wright

I would say good one Ma. Burl is always rude to her, so now she is pouring chunky cream in his coffee. Wait till burl gets a chunk in his rotton tooth, it will be straight back to Crustfoods to return the cream “they just bought yesterday but lost the receipt”

@Gym, That was the first thing I thought too;-)Can’t believe that they still eat the way they do AND take BP meds; on my FB yesterday a friend said she ate nothing all day but potato chips and ice cream and was starving – DUH!Naturally I had to tell her she wouldn’t feel so hungry if she had eaten anything nutritious (and she rather resembles Joy, I’m afraid). I would not be surprised if SHE is on meds. Sad!

Why do they buy heart medicines that are synthetic and expire when they can grow fresh organic foxglove on the windowsill.

Some of these comments are hysterical, but I think the door prize today should go to Michael Brenner. Excellent!
