Moms guide to proper conduct with technology, aka "Techiquette" Hows your book coming along dot? First chapter is shaping up nicely! Techiquette rule number one: Don't bring your cellphone to church. Ive noticed some texting during the pastors sermon. If you leave your device in the car you wont be tempted. Good advice. Texting in church is plain rude! Especially if you happen to be the pastors wife. tap tap

Especially!

Sorry, this rule is obsolete. My Bible is on my phone, and my church provides notes, updates, and childcare information through wifi during the service. It is a rule, however, to turn all electronic devices to silent/vibrate.

I was at a funeral when a woman’s cell rang. She could’nt find it in her purse as it rang and rang. After about sixteen or seventeen rings the idiot got up and left the room.

I wouldn’t leave any electronic device in a vehicle. That’s just asking for it to be stolen. But everyone should either set it to vibrate and leave when a call comes through or turn it off.

I have my phone on vibrate, and if it is an emergency, I get up and go outside. Leaving the phone in the car is not an option for me because, as my mom would say," not everyone who goes to church is Christ-minded"….
